Our Story

Be You was envisioned in 2022 by the simple desire to help when normal is not reality.

In February of 2022, 9 year old Jack Pollard began his journey to fight against cancer.

In this, he wanted to feel the warmth and comfort of his own t-shirts. I dreamt an idea and my friends and I decided to begin a project where we take normal every day t-shirts and make them accessible and adaptable to the needs. We take a t-shirt, cut along the seem and fasten buttons along the side. The buttoned snaps help doctors and people to access the port and adjust the shirt as needed during treatments or appointments. This is different than a gown, this is your unique shirt, made for you!

We aim to make them comfortable in whatever life may be. To simply feel a little bit of normal in such unfamiliar circumstances. These shirts allows you to feel YOU as you wear them everyday. The giveback provides people to pay it forward for someone else and then for a person to come and find a shirt that is just for them. We want you to share your story here and to keep passing this along for others.

Every shirt you purchase, will be delivered to a child to wear throughout their day. You will receive a newsletter of a child wearing the shirt you purchase + them being them in their BEYOU designed shirt!
